Cole signs 2 year deal with the Canes

The Hurricanes re-signed Erik Cole to a 2 year deal today. It is a reasonable deal for both Cole and the Canes. I think where teams get themselves into trouble in this economic climate is with 3 or more year contracts that are hard to unload if needed. It was less than the 4 mil a year he was making but coming off a sub par year it was to be expected. Maybe the phone wasn't ringing and his agent figured he better take the deal on the table. Hopefully he will bounce back and play like I know he is capable of. Now I wait to hear able LaRose.
